With the cat litter pan our male owner has made some experiences too. It starts with the suitable cat litter and ends with the litter box. Well, it is a fact that we love a very fine granular cat litter. So using a coarser granular material did not produce the desired result either. One of the litter boxes contains fine litter and the other coarser litter. For us, the decision was clear and we used only the one with the fine litter. It is simply the best for our fluffy bottoms. Now we have the correct product and thus the perfect solution for the problem was found.

One problem was hardly solved when we were confronted with a new one which turned out to be much more relevant for our owner. The handle at the lid of one of the litter boxes lid has been torn off and other one urine was leaking from the edge of the lower bowl of the other litter box. Now and then the urine leaks from the litter box and that happens although pee while sitting down. But we like to pee into the corners and we also have a strong jet. A solution had to be found! Two new litter boxes were bought, which are realy cool. Wonderfully large (a cat can stand in it). The back of the lower bowl is very high compared to the older one, so that nothing will leak from it.

The secluded and comfortable location of the two litter boxes is simply perfect. They are located in the cellar under the staircase so that they are not a nuisance to the sensitive noses of our co-inhabitants. And, what is more, a cat will not be disturbed while it is peeing or "emptying its bowels".

Now and then a little bit of our excrements are left on our fluffy bottoms. But that does not bother us since we drop it anyway on our way. Maybe we sniff at it but our owners must remove it. Hihi - he still has not found a solution for this problem. We hope that he will not come up with the idea of shaving our bottoms.

Oh, I nearly have forgotten to mention that Detlef has found a clever solution for the disposal of our droppings. It is called LitterLocker. With the enclosed shovel he can easily dispose of our little droppings and it is locked airtight with a simple twist. As a result he does not have to go to the garbage can each day, because the LitterLocker has a large capacity and must only be emptied into the garbage can after several days. And you can easily imagine that he is quite capable of doing that.
